The TELECO DSF90E HD Pointer is only compatible with the TEELECO Voyager Matic and Voyager Digimatic antennae, which have a built-in altimeter. It allows the user to find the chosen satellite in a few simple and quick manoeuvres.
Currently, the difficulty in finding a satellite that transmits TV signals in digital form is linked to the fact that the digital signals are displayed on the TV screen with a delay greater than the waiting time of LCD TVs; this forces the user to point using very slow movements so as not to risk passing the satellite without realising. The DSF90E HD is the solution to this problem.
In fact, it is equipped with a signal meter that directly indicates the signal strength ofthe chosen satellite and an electronic altimeter that indicates on the screen the absolute real value of the dish's inclination, even when the vehicle is not in a horizontal position.
There is no delay in contrast to simple satellite pointers and the DSF90E HD, and unlike other systems, it also indicates whether the chosen satellite is the right one.

Teleco DSF90E HD
1) Select the satellite to point to (e.g. ASTRA 23).
2) Move the dish up until it reaches the correct height (see
elevation map).
3) Direct the dish in a SOUTHERLY direction until the DSF90 HD emits a continuous beeping sound.
4) Wait until the SAT OK LED lights up.
5) If the indicated satellite is not the correct one, the SAT NOT OK LED lights up and you have to turn the dish further until the beep sounds and the SAT OK LED lights up
6) The dish direction is optimized when all the LEVEL indicator LEDs are lit.
