1. Position the caravan with hitch on a stable, level surface.
2. Make sure your caravan's handbrake is fully engaged.
3. Remove all wheel chocks.
4. Raise the corner stabilizers.
5. Raise the caravan by the jockey wheel handle to the required height to allow insertion of the weighing scale into the hitch.
6. Make sure the weighing device is securely positioned and perpendicular to the ground.
7. Turn the jockey wheel handle to lower the caravan onto the scale, and continue to raise the jockey wheel so that the hitch head is supported by the scale.
8. Measure the weight and, if necessary, adjust the caravan load to obtain the desired weight.
